Italy in Poznan<\/strong>\nIn a very nice location this place is the typical italian restaurant. The atmosphere is highly friendly and nice. The food is amazing. I had here the best pizza in Poznan and also, in another occasion, had an incredible pasta. They also serve some fine wine and beers, both italian and polizh. The service is kind, quick and very understanding. The prices are good and in both occasion I had to wait just the time needed to cook the dishes. This is probably my favourite place in Poznan and defintely a place I would go back and back again. Mirko &amp; Justyna (owners and both of them cook) will treat you like old friends, and after you\u2019ve been three times they will treat you like family. Service can sometimes be a little slow because the main waiter (Kuba) tries to be everywhere at once \u2014 and mostly he succeeds. When he doesn\u2019t he laughs. In fact the place is often full of laughter, full of kids, full of young people falling in love, full of families of three generations. That\u2019s the atmosphere. The food is simple trattoria fare well done. They change the menu with the seasons. They make their own pasta. They make spaghetti carbonara the proper way (no cream, pecorino Romano cheese, and Mirko uses guanciale instead of pancetta). They have several wines, both white and red, by the glass. Prices are very fair considering the quality and authenticity. They have football nights whenever Roma is playing, to the chagrin of Maurizio, the dishwasher, who is a Lazio fan. They have a free library \u2014 seriously, you can borrow any book in the place (and there are some great ones). This is not just an Italian restaurant \u2014 this is a little corner of a friendly neighbourhood in Rome. You will likely hear a lot of Italian, because every Italian in Wielkapolska eats there or stops in to say Ciao . Imaginarium wears its very big heart on its sleeve. It\u2019s a bit like Marmite: you either love it or hate it. I love it. I eat there almost every Friday with my son. I tried the lasagna and instantly fell in love, it was the best I\u2019ve ever had in my life! The layers of pasta and fresh homemade beef ragu felt deeply soul-satisfying, so I don\u2019t believe I\u2019ll be forgetting about it anytime soon. But as much as the food is impeccable, able to transport you to the heart of Italy, the experience would not be complete without all the small things that really add up to a good time. The photos, brick walls, and bright colors really complement and add to the atmosphere of a fun, carefree evening with family or friends. From the anti-pasti to the dessert and after-dinner drinks, the evening is simply a journey to Italy, led by the owners, Justyna Chesy and Mirko Vaccari. Justyna leads the travels through the wines and cuisine of the entirety of Italy, describing the tastes to come. Those tastes are created and delivered by Mirko, a master chef with an extraordinary ability to transport you from Poland to provinces of Italia. You finish the meal half expecting to walk out the door into the heart of Venice, Naples, Rome, or Florence.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nAlong the journey, you might be so lucky as to have Justyna sit at the piano and play something as extraordinary as the food. As you dine on homemade pastas and cheeses from the regions of Italy, Justyna will dazzle you with a rendition from Billy Joel or a classical piece, each as matched to the evening as the wine is to the meal.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nJustyna, Mirko, and their staff have created a place in which you can imagine your life is complete.
